The campsite is situates next to Hnjótur guesthouse and near the famous bird cliff Latrarbjarg. For birdwatchers and photographers alike, Latrabjarg the 441 meter high cliff is one of a kind as it stretches up to 14 kilometers. Literally packed with birds no wonder it claims to inhabit one of the largest bird population in the world.
Hnjótur also has an interesting museum with emphasis towards the aviation history of the country.
