Kerlingarfjoll are one of Icelands precious inland resorts. There you will find good facilities and a restaurant serving traditional Icelandic dishes.
In the area are various marked and unmarket hiking routes and you can spend days browsing the Hveradalir area which is one of Icelands biggest geothermal areas.
Kerlingarfjoll area is open from beginning June until September and is accessible by all cars.
