The camping site is located in Þjórsárdalur or the valley by the river Þjórsá. Beautiful area and there are many possible hikes to take from there. At the camping site there is an entertaining playground for kids. The camping site has a lot of trees planted to organize the area, so people are able to find there spot in-between the trees to get shelter from the wind.
