Grindavík is a beautiful Icelandic fishing town on the south coast of the Reykjanes peninsula. The Blue Lagoon, Grindavík premiere attraction, is located 3 miles from the town centre. Other attractions include the Saltfish museum, golf course and horse rental. The town has the horizon of the Atlantic ocean to one side and seemingly endless lava fields to the other - many interesting hikes to be had in the diverse surroundings.
