Alex campsite is the only campsite by Keflavik international airport, only 2 minutes away by car, and this makes it a very handy stop over. Airport luggage can be stored in a safe place while the last day is spent going to the blue lagoon for example, only 15 min away. Scheduled airport transfer from Alex guesthouse is provided for 250 ISK. The campsite is free for children 14 years and younger traveling with adults. The surrounding area has attractions such as whale watching, golf courses, birds, hot springs, the Bridge across continents, etc.
