Hamrar Campsite is located near Kjarnaskógur, only 5 minutes drive from Akureyri city center. The Campsite is one of the biggest in Iceland, and therefore are reservations not required and spaces not held. Still, if you are a part of big group of cars, caravans or motorhomes (10+), or a big group of campers, please inform your arrival in advance.
