The Systragil campsite is a centrally located, family friendly place to stay at. Many of Iceland´s most interesting and beautiful places are within a short distance of Systragil. Akureyri is 35 km away, Mývatn 60 km and Húsavík 90 km away. A swimming pool is about 10 km away and it is also possible to go fishing in the river Fnjóská that runs beside the camp site. Golf course at Lundur is about 3 km away .
The location is ideal to make short trips from and to return to a beautiful location and excellent facilities.
The campsite has a playground, warm water an excellent WC, shower , washing machine, electricity and toilet waste.

From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri on road no. 1 heading for Húsavík/Lake Mývatn. After about 30 km (after leaving Eyjafjörður fjord) you need to turn right into road no. 833. Continue on road no. 833 for about 5 km and you find Systragil campingplace..
From Reykjahlíð village at lake Mývatn: Leave Reykjahlíð village on road no. 1 heading for Akureyri. After about 65 km (after passing waterfall Goðafoss) you need to turn left into road no. 833. Continue on road no. 833 for about 5 km and you find Systragil campingplace.
