The camping grounds of the town of Siglufjörður are located in the centre of town, near the main square and the harbour. All services, recreation and museums are within 5-10 minutes by foot. For those who seek a little more privacy and less ado, we offer another site outside of town. From there you are within a walking distance from a golf course, horse farms and nesting grounds for many species of birds. The town centrum is still only 10 minutes away if you go on foot. The area is known for it’s festivals such as the Blues festival at Ólafsfjörður town and the Folk music festival at Siglufjörður town. Siglufjörður also hosts a festival at the start of August celebrating the time when the town was filled with workers during the height of the “Herring adventure”.
