Loðmundafjörður

Loðmundarfjörður is a remote, uninhabited fjord in the eastern part of Iceland. In the fjord there are thousands of nesting eider ducks, possibly some reindeer and most definitely semi-wild horses grazing in the fertile valley.
Getting there is the tricky part: You can hike from Seyðisfjörður for example or go by jeep from Borgarfjörður Eystri.
