The fishing town Ólafsvík is situated on the western end of the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Iceland. The nature around Ólafsvík affords numerous recreation opportunities, such as hiking trails, long sandy beaches, and snowmobiling on the volcano Snæfellsjökull.
