From Húsadalur in Thorsmork lies an array of hiking routes. One of those is the Laugavegur hiking route, on of the most popular hiking routes in Iceland. It lies between Landmannalaugar and Thorsmork and spans 55 kilometers.
Reykjavik Excursions offers daily departures from Reykjavik to Thorsmork from June 15 to September 13, 2009.
