The Húnavellir Campsite offers among other things, very good sport ad recreational facilities. On-site there is a soccer field, gymnastics hall, a playground and a swimming pool complete with a hot pot. For fishing enthusiasts, Svínavatn lake offers very good hopes of catching something. The camp site is next to a hotel which houses a very good restaurant as well as other services for the campers.
