LungA Art Festival is an annual event in the small bohemian fishing village of Seydisfjordur. Every year young people from around the world gather to celebrate art and music through creative workshops, art shows and concerts for one week. LungA is first and foremost a festival with the purpose of summoning people in creation and to strengthen awareness and knowledge about art and culture. LungA is a terrific venue for those who are thinking of further art studying or teaching at art schools.
This year it promises to be extra special as LungA Art Festival is also celebrating it‘s 10th anniversary.
Through out the years LungA has grown and has now become on of Iceland's biggest art festival for young people. Going from having only 20 participants the first year to being completely sold out for the last years.
