S-Harks with it’s two members s Helgi Jean & Hjálmar is an Icelandic rap group. As the rap artists have been over the history their way is controversy. From the afro –American rapping of the ghetto to the white Emenem rapping about upbringing and generally about the society of people. The Icelandic group has found it’s messages in the current financial crisis in Iceland. This rap song say’s it all. It opens the heart of the everyday Icelander, the current state of mind of a country in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and a little bit of frustration of the bullying by using the economy of scale method.
We could say that Icelanders have become the afro-American of Europe, at least we have mastered the art of rapping like professionals and making bad ass videos.
