A strange neighbourly dispute has erupted in the north of the country in the township of Blöndós.
Oddur, a resident of this peaceful town, has accused his neighbour Áki, of stealing worms and snails from his garden The methods that Áki is allegedly using are rather sophisticated, using a bait or some kind of chemical aroma to lure snails and worms from Odd‘s garden over to his garden.
Oddur says that he‘s tried to convince Áki of stopping his dastardly deeds and return the worms and snails, but Áki‘s response has been quite rude in response and calling him all kinds of names . Oddur has also said that the police told him that they were unable to aid him as worms and snails have freedom of movement according to the law.
When a local web site tried to get response from Áki, he was rather hesitant, suggested that Oddur was not all right in the head and the worms and snails must be more impressed with his garden. Áki didn‘t want to comment any further as Oddur is preparing a lawsuit against him.
As for the worms and snails, they have not yet released a statement nor has any effort been put into reaching them into the ground. Hopefully they‘ll clear up the matter soon as it looks like the lawsuit will proceed at a snail pace through the system.
