Saying “thanks” in Icelandic and other phrases

It is very easy to say that and many foreigners get a hang of that very soon. It is “takk” pronounces sort of like “MAC” like the computer “Macintosh” or like tic tack in a clock. You can use that every time when you get a service in a store or someone is helping you with directions.
