Surviving Iceland

It is not so common that people kiss in Iceland. It has to be a relative or some very close friends. The men usually never kiss, not even on the cheek. The way of Borat of kissing all over the place does not work here. The most kissing two strangers do is in the darkness of the nightclub, then the kissing goes all the way. Children kiss both their parent when young but when the boy is maybe 15-16 years old they stop kissing their father and shake their hands instead and clap on the back (this is with exceptions).



However some people kiss their pets alot.
